Nashua Coin Club will hold their semi-
annual coin, stamp, and baseball card show
at St, r hilip Church Hall, Exit 5W, Everett
Turnpike, 500 ’.Test Hollis St, (Rt. Jll) in
Nashua, Sept. 26 & 27 opening at 10 A.M.
The 37th Annual Tri-State Collectors'
Exhibition will be held in Concord Community
Center, 39 Green St. (back of City ■“all and
police station) Concord, N.H. Saturday, Oct. 10
and Sunday, Oct. 11 from 10 A. II. to 5 P.M.
There will be a coin auction at 6 ?.M.
Saturday by Gary Galbo, Box 7848, Nashua,
N.H. 03 060. (Tel 603-891-2245). The raffle
ends at 3 P.M. Sunday > About 50 dealers will
have bourse table. Contact Galbo soon if you
would like a table. Cost is $80. for an 8 ft.
table, or $120 for oorner with two tables.

The Fall meeting of New Hampshire Numis-
matic Assn, will be held at 5 P.M. Saturday,
Pet. 10, at Concord Community Center, 39
Men St., Concord, N.H. ( back of city hall
■ n police stattion) when the bourse at the
Tri-State Eollectors' Exhibition closes. Any
Coin Club interested in hosting the Spring
1993* show should present their bid at. this
meeting.

MEANING OF N.H.NJ5. SEAL
The official N.H.N.A. seal as shown on
the cover was designed by Marvin Perkins, '
Concord. The nine sided nonagon and the nine
stars in the corners mean thqt New Hampshire
was the 9th state of the U.S., making the
two-thirds of the original 13 oolonies required
to ratify the Constitution before it was offic-
ially adopted. The 1963 at the bottom is the
date N.H.N.A. -was organized.
The state flower, purple lilac, is above
at the top of shield. The clasped hands show
one larger hand clasped around a smaller,
indicating friendshio snfl the encouragement
of junior members, by older members. Thirteen
st«rs in the center mean that B. H. was one of
I inal 13 oolenies. The lamp indicates know-
ledge and learning. E. Pluribus Unum means
From Many One , signifying uniting of many coin
clubs and individuals in one organizalion.
Superimposed on the sides of the shield are
the state emblem. Old Nan of the Mountain on
the right and on left the Moulton N.H. "cent".
The Governor's Trophy and many other fine
prizes are offered for exhibits of Numismatic,
Philatelic, or miscallaneous categories*
There is a special award for junior exhibits.

anniversary of Columbus. A special show station
cancel will be used. Back issues of stamps will
be on sale by the post office. Wooden nickels
feature the half disme design of 1792 which was
made from Martha Washington's silverware.
